Patna, Dec 14 (Reporter) Leader of the opposition in Bihar assembly Tejaswi Prasad Yadav on Saturday questioned the extravaganza of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on his proposed " Mahila Sanvad Yatra ", saying Rs114 crores would be spent only on refreshments during the yatra.
Yadav, also a senior RJD leader , giving details on the basis of a government letter on his social media account " X ", pointed out that huge amount of Rs
114 crores would be spent on refreshments during the Mahila Sanvad Yatra across the state. Similarly, Rs 104 crores would be spent for advertisements on so called achievements of Nitish Kumar government, he added.
" In addition to huge amount to be spent on both heads, a separate amount of Rs 150 crores would be given to a PR company to bolster the image of Chief Minister Kumar ", RJD leader pointed out adding that Rs 225.78 crores was sanctioned by cabinet for " Mahila Sanvad Yatra " of Kumar. When he had promised to give government jobs to ten lakhs youths during 2020 Bihar assembly elections, Chief Minister Kumar had asked him from where he would bring so much money, whether it would be from
account of his father, he recalled .
For giving government jobs to youths, Kumar had said that fund was not available in state exchequer but for bolstering his image, he was spending huge amount, RJD leader stated...////...
