Dhaka, Aug 11 (Reporter) Syed Refaat Ahmed has been appointed the 25th chief justice of Bangladesh hours after Justice Obaidul Hassan stepped down from the post following student-led protests at the Supreme Court premises. Hassan resigned on Saturday afternoon after anAnti Discrimination student movement protest leader issued an ultimatum demanding Hassan put in his papers.
