Paris, Aug 25 (Reporter) The suspect in organising the terrorist attack near the synagogue in the Herault department in southern France has been detained, Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin said. "The suspected culprit of the criminal arson of the synagogue has been detained," the minister said on X. Darmanin also thanked law enforcement for the successful detention. According to BFMTV, the suspect was neutralised in the city of Nimes, he received several bullet wounds, but he was handed over to doctors, his life is not in danger. On Saturday morning, an explosion occurred in front of a synagogue in the Herault department after two cars had been set on fire, one of which contained a gas cylinder. One policeman was injured.
