Una (HP), July 27 (Reporter) Former Union Minister and Hamirpur Lok Sabha MP Anurag Singh Thakur has described Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu's boycott of the NITI Aayog meeting as playing with the interests of Himachal.
In a press statement issued by the party here today, Anurag Singh Thakur said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always considered Himachal Pradesh as his second home. The interests of Himachal have been given priority, but the Congress has always given priority to its petty politics and has ignored the interests of Himachal.
Thakur said that the decision of the Chief Minister not to attend the meeting of Niti Aayog is not only unfortunate but also highly condemnable. The decision of the Chief Minister, motivated by politics, is a direct tampering with the interests of Himachal Pradesh. The Chief Minister should reconsider his decision and attend the meeting in the interest of the state. Congress took a loan of 25,000 crores in just one and a half years and increased the debt burden on the state to 95,000 crores.
Congress did nothing for the state but it has shut down the health institutions, education centers, uniforms given to children in government schools or the facilities given to laborers running here. Congress has done nothing in the last 18 months except benefiting its friends. Now it is inappropriate to distance yourself from the meeting of Niti Aayog, which is chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
