Madhya Pradesh Police has initiated a massive campaign against illegal drugs in state as intended by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and in compliance with the commitment of the state government. The statewide special campaign, which started on November 14, 2024, under the direction of Director General of Police Shri Sudhir Saxena, has been a major blow to the illegal drug trade. The campaign has also given the message that strict legal action will be taken against criminal elements. In the three-day operation, the police seized more than 1,800 kilograms of illegal drugs. During this period, a total of 167 accused were arrested and 16 vehicles were seized.
