Patna, Feb 3 (Reporter) RJD leader Tejaswi Prasad Yadav on Monday alleged that Bihar was being meted out step-motherly treatment by the Centre, which has "ignored" the state's interests in the Union Budget for fiscal 2025-26.
Yadav, also the leader of the Opposition in the Bihar assembly, said the Narendra Modi government had continuously "ignored" the state's interests. The demand for granting special status to the state was also not being accepted by the Centre, he added.
"It was the 12th Budget by the Narendra Modi government, but nothing was done for Bihar in the last 11 budgets ", the RJD leader said, adding that youths of Bihar were migrating to other states to earn their livelihood.
He further alleged that no attempt was made in the Union Budget to establish industries in Bihar, which could have increased employment opportunities for youths of the state.
Yadav said the entire resources of the country were being transferred to Gujarat under the present regime. "Only Gujarat and no other state was on the agenda of the Centre for launching development projects," he alleged...////...
