Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that Madhya Pradesh is rapidly emerging as a strong startup hub, working in alignment with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision for industrial development and job creation. The state government is implementing an effective strategy to foster a startup culture that aligns with the aspirations of young entrepreneurs, prioritizing innovation, entrepreneurship, and employment generation.
Dr. Yadav emphasized that the goal is to make Madhya Pradesh a "center for startups and innovation," providing a conducive environment and full support for young entrepreneurs to transform their ideas into successful businesses. The ‘Future Frontier: Startup Pitching’ session, organized at GIS Bhopal, has propelled the state's startup ecosystem to a global level.
Madhya Pradesh Strengthening its Presence in the Startup Sector
In this era of modern technology, Madhya Pradesh has been making rapid strides in the national startup ecosystem. The presence of founders from over 20 unicorn startups at GIS Bhopal stands as strong evidence of this progress. Total 180 startups registered for the ‘Future Frontier: Startup Pitching’ session, which was focused on startups. Out of these, 25 high-potential startups made presentations. Based on the analysis of their presentations, they received necessary guidance and investment opportunities.
Total 47 startups participated in the session, and 19 of them received Expressions of Interest (EOIs). Various investors and incubators showed interest in funding startups. IICE expressed interest in 4 startups, SGSITS in 3 startups, Silver Needle Ventures in 3 startups, ITI Growth in 3 startups, EZSeed in 7 startups, CFund in 3 startups, Venture Catalysts in 10 startups, VASPL Initiatives in 4 startups, AIS-RNTU in 5 startups, and Equanimity Investments in 5 startups.
