Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced that at least 10 cities in Madhya Pradesh will be developed on the model of Indore for the upcoming Swachh Survekshan. The Cabinet meeting, chaired by CM Dr. Yadav, began with the rendition of Vande Mataram at Committee Room No. 1 in the Vidhan Sabha.
The Cief Minister congratulated the people of the state for their achievements in Swachh Survekshan 2025. CM Dr. Yadav also extended his greeting to the citizens on the Occasion of Nag Panchami. He said that the national-level recognition has made every citizen of Madhya Pradesh proud. Indore has retained its title as the cleanest city in India for the eighth consecutive year, while Bhopal has been ranked second.
CM Dr. Yadav shared that 338 cities in the state have achieved ODF (Open Defecation Free) Double Plus certification and 24 cities have been awarded Water Plus certification, in his address before the Cabinet meeting. He informed that in Ujjain division, 56 out of 66 cities have improved their rankings, and 41 areas received star ratings. CM Dr. Yadav also announced that a state-level event will be held on the occasion of Janmashtami.
