Hawk Force Inspector Ashish Sharma, who attained martyrdom in a Naxalite encounter, was given farewell with full state honour in his native village Bohani. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav attended the funeral ceremony of martyr Ashish Sharma on Thursday and paid tribute by laying a wreath on the mortal remains . The Chief Minister also participated in the last rites.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Inspector Ashish Sharma displayed indomitable courage in the anti-Naxal operation and made supreme sacrifice performing his duty. He consoled the family and said that the state is proud of Ashish Sharma's martyrdom.
One crore rupees to family
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the martyr's family will receive an honorarium of Rs one crore . A park and stadium will be set up in Bohani village in the name of martyr Ashish Sharma. This will inspire future generations and keep his memory alive.
