State Governments Goal is to Boost Participation and Achievements of MP in International Sports Competitions: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that with the objective of increasing participation and achievements of Madhya Pradesh in international sports competitions, the state government is providing every possible support to players. With a goal that players from Madhya Pradesh participate in maximum number and win a large number of medals in all international sports competitions, including Olympics to be held in Los Angeles in 2028, sports activities are being conducted in the state. The state government is continuously working for expansion of sports infrastructure in the state, along with providing excellent training and other assistance and encouragement to the players. The state government is ready to provide every possible support to the Madhya Pradesh Olympic Association. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was virtually addressing the annual meeting of the Madhya Pradesh Olympic Association held in Jabalpur from the Chief Minister's residence. Urban Development and Housing Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya also participated virtually in the meeting. Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Rajesh Rajora and Additional Chief Secretary Sports and Youth Welfare Shri Manu Srivastava were present on this occasion.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Madhya Pradesh Olympic Association has been continuously working in the field of sports since 1952, that is, for 73 years. Madhya Pradesh performed excellently in the 38th National Games held in Uttarakhand and for the first time achieved the third position. The sports infrastructure in state is rapidly advancing. Madhya Pradesh has more than 22 hockey astroturfs and 15 athletic tracks, which is not present in any other state in the country. Madhya Pradesh has 18 excellence academies. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated and extended best wishes to all the office bearers of the Olympic Association. Office bearers of Madhya Pradesh Olympic Association were present in the meeting held in Jabalpur.
