Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that the sacred city of Jabalipuram has been blessed today. It has become an abode of bliss. The foundation stone for an advanced Gaushala has been laid in the district. He emphasized that the state government is committed towards cow protection and conservation. As per the state’s policy, no cow shall be left abandoned or destitute. Like major metropolitan cities, large municipal corporations and municipalities across the state will also construct Gaushalas, increasing their capacity to shelter up to 10 Thousand cattle. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced that to economically empower the state’s farmers, the government has decided to procure wheat at a support price of Rs 2,600 per quintal. Additionally, paddy-producing farmers will receive an incentive of Rs 2,000 per hectare starting this month. On Wednesday, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav addressed the gathering during the foundation stone laying ceremony of the first phase of a Gaushala project being developed on 53 acres in Umaria, Jabalpur. He also inaugurated and laid the foundation for development projects worth over Rs 187.43 crore in the district. The event commenced with Dr. Yadav lighting ceremonial lamp and garlanding the saints. He worshiped and paid homage to cows and offered them feed with deep reverence.
