Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the state government is working across all sectors for the welfare of farmers. Taking a farmer-friendly decision, the state government has sent a proposal to the Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare for the procurement of summer Moong and Urad at Minimum Support Price (MSP). Registration for MSP procurement will begin from June 19. Directions have been issued to all concerned departments and agencies.
CM Dr. Yadav mentioned that the government is also supporting the establishment of agro-based industries to empower farmers economically and is committed to ensuring that farmers receive fair prices for their crops. In a discussion with farmers' associations, he reaffirmed that under the "double-engine government" led by Prime Minister Modi, the state will progress with coordinated efforts. The Chief Minister added that the government will also provide necessary assistance for the upcoming crop season and is consistently organizing agricultural fairs to make advanced seeds and farming equipment available to farmers.
