Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the per capita income of Madhya Pradesh has risen to Rs 1 lakh 52 thousand, compared to just Rs 11 thousand in 2002–03. Over the past one and a half years, the state’s irrigated area has expanded by 7.5 lakh hectares, and several districts are set to benefit from the river-linking campaign. Highlighting the state’s progress across all sectors, he noted that special emphasis is being placed on boosting industrial activities and attracting investment. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav affirmed the government’s commitment to encouraging meritorious students, with provisions in place to award laptops and scooters to those securing more than 75 percent marks and ranking first in their schools. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was speaking at the Swarna Sharda Scholarship 2025 distribution ceremony organized by IBC 24, where he presented scholarships and certificates to talented girl students and extended his best wishes for their bright future.
Miss Priyal Dwivedi of Government Higher Secondary School, Amarpatan, who secured the first position in the state in the Class 12 MP Board examinations, informed Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav that she wished to pursue her higher studies at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) but was unable to do so due to financial constraints. In response, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced that the state government would make arrangements for her studies at VIT. In the programme, the Chief Minister honoured 66 girl students, awarding Rs 50 thousand and a certificate to each district topper. Priyal Dwivedi, the state topper, received a cheque for Rs 1 lakh, and her school was also presented with a cheque of Rs 1 lakh.
