Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Vikramotsav is being organized in Delhi as a celebration of India's glorious heritage. He emphasized that Madhya Pradesh is progressing toward development while preserving and promoting its cultural roots.
Welcoming Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, and Chemicals and Fertilizers, Shri J.P. Nadda, as the chief guest of the grand theatrical performance on Samrat Vikramaditya, Dr. Yadav noted the Minister’s special bond with the state, referring to him as “Madhya Pradesh's son-in-law”. He appreciated Shri Nadda’s consistent presence and support for Vikramotsav events.
Addressing the media after visiting the MP Tourism Pavilion and exhibition at the Red Fort, Dr. Yadav described Samrat Vikramaditya as a timeless hero who defeated invaders like the Shakas and Huns, and established good governance. “Like Bhagwan Shri Ram, Vikramaditya’s era teaches the values of humility in leadership. Great heroes like him do not become history—they create history,” he said.
