Stalin leaves for Delhi, to meet PM tomorrow

Chennai, Sep 26 (Reporter) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin left for New Delhi on Thursday evening where he will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and seek funds for pending projects and those due to the State. He was expected to meet Mr Modi at 1100 hrs tomorrow morning during which he is expected to submit a memorandum containing the issues concerning the state and will seek funds, including for the Chennai Metro Rail Phase-2 project. Upon landing in the National capital, Mr Stalin met the advocate team, who had handled the case of Mr Senthilbalaji, who was granted bail by the Supreme Court and released from prison, and congratulated them. Mr Stalin is expected to return to the city tomorrow evening. Mr Stalin had earlier boycotted the Niti Aayog meeting convened by Mr Modi alleged discrimination of TN in the Union budget...////...
