Bhadradri Kothagudem (Telangana), Apr 7 (Reporter) The auspicious Sri Rama Pattabhishekam (Coronation) was celebrated with great devotion and grandeur at the Mithila Kalyana Mandapam in Bhadrachalam on Monday.
The coronation ceremony of Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy, a traditional ritual held annually following the divine wedding, was conducted by temple priests amidst Vedic chants and spiritual fervour.
The grand event was graced by the Governor of Telangana, Jishnu Dev Varma, who offered silk clothes to Lord Rama as part of the Maha Pattabhishekam rituals.
The Governor was given a ceremonial welcome by temple priests and Minister for Agriculture Tummala Nageswara Rao upon his arrival at the Mandapam.
Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao expressed his happiness over the successful conduct of the Sri Rama Navami Maha Pattabhishekam, which is an integral part of the ongoing Brahmotsavams of the Bhadrachalam Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy temple.
He said he prayed for the prosperity of the state and nation, especially for abundant dairy and agricultural yields this year.
The Minister also extended heartfelt thanks to the officials, devotees, and media personnel who contributed to the smooth and grand organization of the divine wedding and coronation ceremonies.
Earlier in the day, Governor Jishnu Dev Varma landed at Sarapaka helipad, where he was received by Minister Tummala. From there, he proceeded to the temple for the ceremonies, receiving a warm welcome in accordance with temple traditions...////...
