Sports College and synthetic track to be built in Satna: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav highlighted the role of sports in fostering discipline, self-confidence, intellectual sharpness, fearlessness, and attentiveness within individuals. He noted that Madhya Pradesh achieved fourth place in the Khelo India Youth Games, with the state earning 15 medals in shooting and contributing significantly to the Indian hockey team in the Olympics. Currently, 11 academies across 18 sports disciplines are operating within the state, a matter of great pride. Dr. Yadav announced an allocation of Rs 15 crore for the establishment of a Sports College in Satna, along with an additional Rs 7 crore for constructing a synthetic track. He also instructed the District Collector to prioritize the construction of a boundary wall and other necessary facilities. The Chief Minister made these remarks at the closing ceremony of the 35th All India Sports (Athletics) Festival 2024, organized by the Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan (All India Education Institute) in Satna.
