Jaunpur, Mar 4 (Reporter) A local Samajwadi Party (SP) leader was murdered by unidentified miscreants by slitting his throat in Line Bazar area of Jaunpur district in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here on Tuesday. The sources said that the incident took place when SP booth president Rajesh Yadav alias Nate (45), a resident of Paryavaran Bankat village of the area, was going from Jaunpur city to his village Pariyara after selling milk on his bicycle on Monday night. "While Rajesh was way back to his house, unidentified miscreants on a bike slit his throat with a sharp weapon," they said. Police sources said that on receiving the information about the incident, Superintendent of Police (SP) Dr Kaustubh along with a heavy police force reached the spot. The SP said that three police teams have been deployed to arrest the accused. "In view of the tension in the area, a large number of police and PAC forces have been deployed," he said. Kaustubh said that the family members of the deceased have filed a written complaint against Rahul Yadav of the same village, for whose arrest three teams have been formed...////...
