Srinagar, Dec 24 (Reporter) The Sopore Police Martyrs Memorial T-20 knockout cricket tournament kicked off in North Kashmir on Tuesday. Deputy Inspector General of Police north Kashmir, Maqsood ul Zaman, and Superintendent of Police Sopore, Divya D were the chief guests on the occasion. The tournament features 32 participating teams, showcasing their cricketing talent and fostering a spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie among the participants, a statement issued by the police said. The inauguration ceremony set the stage for what promises to be an exciting and competitive tournament. In his address, DIG Zaman encouraged the players to demonstrate their skills and uphold the values of discipline and teamwork.
