Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that Shri Dattopant Thengadi, with the personality of a sage, illuminated society like a lamp through the brilliance of his wisdom and philosophy. His visionary ideas in the fields of agriculture, labor welfare, and Swadeshi are like guiding stars that will continue to inspire generations. As a founding member of the Vidyarthi Parishad, his role significantly shaped thought and action. Dr. Yadav emphasized that Shri Thengadi viewed Hindutva not just as a form of nationalism but as a philosophy of universal brotherhood. He believed that the concept of Hindutva transcends the boundaries of the animate and inanimate, encompassing individuals, society, the nation, and all of humanity. ‘In today’s context, his ideas have become even more relevant. The whole world looks to India with hope for guidance and solutions to various global challenges. India can fulfill this role through its rich ancient knowledge traditions. In this regard, the need for research on the diverse dimensions of Indian knowledge traditions has become more pressing. Dr. Yadav called for collaborative efforts, stating that along with the government, society must also actively contribute to this research. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was speaking at the Bhoomi Pujan and commencement of the new campus building of the Dattopant Thengadi Research Institute.
