Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that social media plays a vital role in spreading factual information to the masses and is, therefore, an effective tool for strengthening democratic systems. He stated that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi recognizes the potential of social media and consistently connects with people across the nation through various digital platforms.
Dr. Yadav was addressing the inaugural session of a Digital Marketing Workshop organized by the Tribal Research Institute (TRI) for tribal social media influencers. The program commenced at the Tribal Museum with the Deep-Prajjwalan and floral tributes offered to portraits of tribal freedom fighters.
Dr. Yadav was welcomed with a tulsi plant, a rudraksha mala, and a traditional shawl. The event featured Dr. Himanshu Rai, Director of IIM Indore, as the keynote speaker. Also present were Additional Chief Secretary and TRI Director Shri Vinod Kumar, former Chairperson of Bal Bharti Shri Nishant Khare, and Commissioner and Secretary of Public Relations Shri Sudam Khade.
