Islamabad, Aug 30 (Reporter) Aleema Khan, the sister of PTI founder and former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, has stated that to secure a speedy conviction in the £190 million case, officials have increased their pressure on her jailed brother, The Express Tribune said. Speaking to the media outside of Adiala Jail, she voiced her worries about Imran Khan's growing restrictions, which include limiting family access. Aleema Khan said that the former prime minister can only meet with three persons at a time. She attributed this to the impending event on September 8th, which she said had raised concerns among the authorities. She mentioned that yesterday, several people were left waiting outside, and only Omar Ayub and Shibli Faraz were allowed to visit him. Aleema said in her speech that the prosecution had asked for an adjournment of the hearing until Monday because they had not been prepared when they filed a bail plea in the Toshakhana case. She raised concerns about the attempts to expedite Imran Khan's conviction in the £190 million case, referencing statements purportedly made by Justice Qazi Faez Isa. Aleema further cautioned that Imran Khan would file more lawsuits in the High Court in the event of a conviction in the £190 million case.
