Shimla, July 5 (Reporter) BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda has reappointed Shrikant Sharma as in-charge of the Himachal Pradesh BJP, a party leader said on Friday. Sharma, the current legislator from Vrindavan in Uttar Pradesh, returns to a familiar role, having previously overseen the state's party affairs in 2017. His appointment comes at a crucial time following the BJP's recent losses in four Assembly by-elections and a notable decline in its vote share and lead in all four Lok Sabha seats in Himachal Pradesh. Sanjay Tandon will continue to support Sharma as the co-in-charge, a position he has held since 2020.
