Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav attended the concluding ceremony of the third phase of the Maa Narmada Seva Parikrama Yatra led by Avadhoot Siddha Mahayogi Shri Dada Guruji at Omkareshwar on Tuesday. During the event, he performed ritual worship of Maa Narmada at Gaumukh Ghat amidst Vedic chants. The yatra was entirely dedicated to the conservation and promotion of Maa Narmada, religion, land, cattle, nature, and the environment.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Yadav emphasized the philosophy of "Yat Pinde Tat Brahmande", stating that everything in the universe is also present within us. He explained that just as the divine resides within us, sacred water is present in Maa Narmada. He praised the successful completion of Shri Dada Guruji’s third phase Maa Narmada Seva Yatra and sought his blessings. The Chief Minister also highlighted the transient nature of human life, emphasizing that our deeds alone determine our destiny. He urged everyone to commit to performing righteous actions.

Dr. Yadav announced that extensive efforts would be made to make the 2028 Simhastha Kumbh Mela a grand event. He noted that the development of Mahakal Lok in Ujjain has significantly boosted religious tourism in Madhya Pradesh, and a similar initiative—Omkareshwar Lok—will be undertaken. He assured that Omkareshwar Dham would be transformed into a radiant pilgrimage site with enhanced facilities.

He further declared that all religious towns in the state would be made alcohol-free and affirmed the government’s commitment to this cause. Additionally, he announced a government subsidy for individuals purchasing more than 10 cows to promote dairy farming.
