Bareilly (UP) Jan 9 (Reporter) Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday said that the Ganga corridor will soon be built in Haridwar and Rishikesh as a corridor is also being built on the Sharda river. Dhami said, "A lot of development work is going on in Uttarakhand. Reconstruction is going on at Baba Kedar Nath. By-elections were held there and we won there. Work is going on under the master plan in Badrinath Dham. The work of beautification and reconstruction of all the temples in the Kumaon region is going on continuously. Now more people are reaching Uttarakhand than before. It has been decided to build a Ganga corridor on Maa Ganga in Haridwar. We will build Ganga corridors at Haridwar and Rishikesh." He said that more devotees go to Purnagiri from Uttar Pradesh. "Now we will build the Sharda corridor there, due to which there will be beautiful ghats and beautification will take place there. Uttarakhand is being developed as a destination for weddings and tourism, so that people will organise weddings and other events in Devbhoomi instead of abroad." The Uttarakhand CM said that when tourists go to Uttarakhand, they will feel very good. "Very good handicraft products are being made in Uttarakhand. They are also following multinational companies. Women in our state have done a very good job. One lakh lakhpati didis have become in our state. We will give them loans without interest," he said. He said, "We made an anti-conversion law. Arson took place in Haldwani. We made a strict anti-riot law. Now if anyone riots, strict action will be taken against him. The loss will also be compensated by that. We made an anti-copying law. Earlier, many cases related to copying used to come every day. Earlier, there were intelligent children but they could not get selected. The copy mafia used to be very powerful. We sent more than 100 copy mafias to jail. We gave employment to 19 thousand people in three years. Which is a record in itself." Dhami said, "We have made a law on land jihad. 5,000 acres of land that was occupied was also freed. We have also made a law against spit jihad. We have made a Uniform Civil Code (UCC) law. Devbhoomi Uttarakhand got the honour of this. We will implement it this month. Holy rivers like Sharda Ganga, Saraswati, and Kaveri equally provide life and water to the entire country. In the same way, UCC will also work." He said that the 28th National Sports Competition is going to start in Uttarakhand on January 28. "The Prime Minister will inaugurate it. The closing ceremony will be held in Haldwani," he said...////...
