Dhaka, May 14 (Reporter) Fresh off a commanding 4-1 series victory over Zimbabwe, Bangladesh has unveiled its 15-member squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup. The squad features the return of seasoned all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan to T20I cricket after nearly a year-long hiatus. Shakib made a notable comeback in the final two T20Is against Zimbabwe, highlighted by a four-wicket performance in the fourth match. There were no major surprises in the squad selection. Young fast bowler Tanzim Hasan Sakib secured a spot after making a strong impression in his two appearances against Zimbabwe. Additionally, left-arm pacer Shoriful Islam is back in the team after being rested for the last two matches against Zimbabwe. Afif Hossain Dhrubo and Hasan Mahmud will join the squad as traveling reserves. Bangladesh will compete in Group D, facing off against South Africa, Sri Lanka, the Netherlands, and Nepal.
