Shah, Fadnavis confer Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj State Inspirational Song Award

Mumbai, May 27 (Reporter) Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday the first State Inspirational Song Award constituted in the name of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. The award was handed over at the CM's official residence "Varsha". On the occasion, a cheque of Rs. 2 lakh was handed over to the office bearers of Swatantryaveer Savarkar Pratishthan by Shah and Fadnavis on behalf of the National Memorial of Swatantryaveer Savarkar. Cultural Affairs Minister Adv. Shelar said that the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj inspires both the living and the dying. Along with that, Sambhaji Maharaj himself did a great job in creating literature with his immense intelligence. He also wrote books and poems. Therefore, it was decided to give a state award in his name. He wrote and composed the song 'Anadi Me, Anant Me..' of Swatantryaveer Savarkar with immense self-confidence, he added...////...
