Patna, May 30 (Reporter) Several senior leaders and their supporters on Friday joined Congress, appreciating the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, who is struggling to save the constitution. President of Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee(BPCC) Rajesh Ram handed over the membership slips to the working President of Lokpriya Samata Party Dheerendra Kumar Shahu and its senior leader Triloki Kumar Manjhi. He said that both the leaders would be of immense use to Congress as the influence of the party would increase further with their support in areas of their influence. " Our leader Rahul Gandhi and the party have been struggling hard in Bihar to save the constitution ", Ram said, adding that several leaders from various parties were joining the Congress as they were impressed with the determination and dedication of Gandhi to save the constitution. The Narendra Modi government was hell bent on changing the constitution with a new one having an agenda of RSS, he alleged. " We have full confidence in the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, who is committed to protecting the constitution and continuing the struggle for social justice ", Dheerendra said, adding that the future of the country could be saved only under the leadership of Congress.
