Chief Electoral Officer Shri Anupam Rajan has instructed the Collector and District Election Officers to make serious efforts to increase the voting percentage in the second, third and fourth phase of Lok Sabha Elections-2024. He reviewed the voting in the first phase in a discussion with the District Election Officers of the Lok Sabha constituencies. Expressing his unhappiness over low voting, he said that the collectors themselves should take the lead to increase the voting percentage in the next phases. The office of the Chief Electoral Officer is always ready to provide full assistance to the collectors. Shri Rajan reviewed all parliamentary constituency-wise election preparations through video conferencing.
