Mumbai, Mar 25 (Reporter) Extending gains for the seventh straight session on Tuesday, the BSE Sensex rallied 717 pts at 78,701.15 following gains in IT, Technology and Bankex stocks. Similarly, signal of possible tariff exemption from multiple countries from Trump government too boosted the market. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) went up 177.75 pts at 23,836.10. The Sensex registered intra days high at 78,741.69 and low at 78,085.53 pts. The Nifty registered days high at 23,869.60 and low at 23,664.90 pts. The Mid cap rose by 0.29 pc while small cap fell by 0.33 pc. In 30 scrips, 25 advanced while 5 declined. The gainers were HCL Technology by 3.17 pc to Rs 1655, Ultracemco by 3.03 pc to Rs 11386, Infosys 2.57 pc to Rs 1633.10 and Bajaj Finserv by 2.55 pc to Rs 1943.05.
