Mumbai, Mar 24 (Reporter) The BSE Sensex on Monday rallied 653 pts at 77,573 in opening session as buying was seen across the board amid foreign capital inflows. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) gained 195 pts at 23,545.90. The equity market maintained its gaining streak intact for the sixth straight session today. The Sensex registered intra days high at 77,585.67 and low at 77,179.35 pts. The Nifty registered days high at 23,559.90 and low at 23,433.50 pts. The Mid cap rose by 1.11 and small cap by 1.22 pc. In 30 scrips, 24 advanced while 6 declined. The gainers were Powergrid by 3.50 pc to Rs 292.90, Kotak Bank by 2.75 pc to Rs 2141.65, L& T by 2.10 pc to Rs 3489.25, NTPC by 1.91 pc to Rs 357.85 and Axis Bank by 1.84 pc to Rs 1090.85.
