Mumbai, Feb 6 (Reporter) The BSE Sensex on Tuesday rallied 266.73 points at 71,998.15 in the opening session, as buying was seen in FMCG, industrials, IT, and utensil stocks. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) rose 88.75 points to 21,860.45. The Sensex registered intraday highs and lows at 72,072.92 and 71,625.18 points, respectively. The Nifty registered intraday highs and lows at 21,870.05 and 21,737.55 points, respectively. The Mid Cap rose by 0.77 pc and the Small Cap by 1.21 pc. In 30 scrips, 17 advanced while 13 declined. The gainers were TCS by 3.84 pc to Rs 4125.30, Bharti Airtel by 3.56 pc to Rs 1153.35, Wipro by 2.61 pc to Rs 494.90, HCL Technology by 2.58 pc to Rs 1595.35, and Maruti Suzuki by 2.47 pc to Rs 10,682.40. The losers were Powergrid by 2.37 pc to Rs 276.05, NTPC by 0.85 pc to Rs 333.20, IndusInd Bank by 0.73 pc to Rs 1528, and Reliance Industries by 0.60 pc to Rs 2859.85...////...
