Mumbai, Jan 23 (Reporter) The BSE Sensex on Thursday advanced further by 234 pts at 76,639 in the opening session as buying was seen across the board. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) gained 83.30 pts at 23,865. The equity market remained firm in another session today, as the Sensex registered intraday highs and lows at 76,665.06 and 76,202.12 pts, respectively. The Nifty registered days high and low at 23,241.50 and 23,090.65 pts, respectively. The mid cap moved up 1.95 pc and the small cap by 1.23 pc. In 30 scrips, 21 advanced while 9 declined. The gainers were Zomato by 2.54 pc to Rs 221.95, M& M by 2.41 pc to Rs 2898, Tech Mahindra by 2.31 pc to Rs 1722.35, and Ultracemco by 1.67 pc to Rs 10,872.90. The losers were Hind Unilever by 1.62 pc to Rs 2304.90, L&T by 1.30 pc to Rs 3471.15, Nestle India Ltd by 0.51 pc to Rs 2196.50, and Axis Bank by 0.43 pc to Rs 955.70...////...
