Sensex still down over 100 pts

Mumbai, July 24 (Reporter) The BSE sensex continued to remain negative for the fourth straight session on Wednesday, declining 162 pts at 80,267 in opening session as selling pressure was seen in Auto, Bankex and Realty stocks. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) declined 21.70 pts to 24,457.35. The BSE registered intra days high and low at 80,519.58 and 80,087.29 pts respectively. The NSE registered days high and low at 24,504.25 and 24,373.45 pts respectively. The Mid Cap rose 0.53 pc and Small Cap by 1.60 pc. In 30 scrips, 11 advanced, 18 while 19 declined while one remained unchanged. The losers were Bajaj Finance by 2.66 pc to Rs 6553.45, Nestle India Ltd by 2.12 pc to Rs 2525.65, Hind Unilever by 1.69 pc to Rs 2716.10 and Bajaj Finance by 1.37 pc to Rs 1595.60. The gainers were Tata motors by 2.42 pc to Rs 1025.55, ITC by 2.12 pc to Rs 502.50, Techn Mahindra by 1.84 pc to Rs 1521.35 and NTPC by 1.39 pc to Rs 387.65...////...
