Mumbai, Jan 16 (Reporter) The BSE Sensex remained strong on Thursday too, rallied 266 pts to open at 77,319 as buying was seen across the board amid strong global cues. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) gained 88 pts at 23,301.80. The Sensex registered intraday highs and lows at 77,319 and 76,932.92 pts respectively. The Nifty registered days high and low at 23,391.65 and 23,294.90 pts respectively. The Mid cap rose 1.41 pc and Small cap by 1.59 pc. In 30 scrips, 21 advanced while 9 declined. The gainers were Adani Ports by 3.27 pc to Rs 1165, IndusInd Bank by 2.76 pc to Rs 987.35, SBI by 2.16 pc to Rs 770.25 and Zomato by 2.11 pc to Rs 249.15. The losers were Nestle India Ltd by 1.12 pc to Rs 2176, Hind Unilever by 0.89 pc to Rs 2352, HCL Technology by 0.81 pc to Rs 1811.10 and ITC by 0.81 pc to Rs 433.65...////...
