Mumbai, Jan 23 (Reporter) The BSE Sensex on Tuesday rallied 525.02 points to 71,948.67 in early trade as most of the stocks were up except oil, gas, and commodity stocks, all were in green. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) gained 152 points at 21,723.80. The Sensex registered intraday highs and lows at 72,039.20 and 71,827.09 points, respectively. The Nifty recorded intraday highs and lows at 21,750.25 and 21,699.15 points, respectively. The Mid Cap rose by 0.18 pc and the Small Cap by 0.12 pc. In 30 scrips, 26 advanced while 4 declined. The gainers were ICICI Bank by 3.26 pc to Rs 1041.20, Powergrid by 2.61 pc to Rs 243.45, Bharti Airtel by 2.38 pc to Rs 1149.75, Sun Pharma by 1.73 pc to Rs 1348.75, and Bajaj Finserv by 1.63 pc to Rs 1605.40. The losers were Asian Paints by 1.95 percent to Rs 3079.25, HDFC Bank by 0.83 percent to Rs 1466.40, Hind Unilever by 0.65 percent to Rs 2453.35, and Maruti Suzuki by 0.24 percent to Rs 9950...////...
