Mumbai, May 31 (Reporter) The BSE Sensex on Friday smartly recovered 323 pts to open at 74208.55 on the strength of Utilities, Auto and Consumer Durable scrips. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) rose 79 pts at 22,568.10. Tumbling down 600 pts on Thursday, the equity market rebounded following gains in L& T, Bajaj finance and Ultracemco scrips. The NSE registered days high and low at 22,653.75 and 22,518.80 pts respectively. The Mid cap fell 0.66 pc while Small Cap by 0.45 pc. In 30 scrips, 17 advanced while 14 declined. The gainers were M & M by 2.27 pc to Rs 2555.30, L& T by 1.99 pc to Rs 3707.65, Bajaj finance by 1.90 pc to Rs 6741.40 and Ultracemco by 1.28 pc to Rs 9992.55. The losers were Infosys by 1.32 pc to Rs 1406.90, Kotak Bank by 1.32 pc to Rs 1668.30, Axis Bank by 0.99 pc to Rs 1159.80 and Bharti Airtel by 0.77 pc to Rs 1366.75...////...
