Mumbai, Feb 25 (Reporter) The BSE Sensex on Tuesday slightly improved by 51 pts at 74,505.41 in the opening session on the strength of financial services, telecommunications, and Bankex stocks. While the National Stock Exchange (NSE) fell 6.65 pts at 22,546.70. The equity market, which was in the red for the last five sessions, slightly rose in early trade. The Sensex registered an intraday high and low at 74,571.98 and 74,400.37 pts, respectively. The Nifty registered days high and low at 22,584.65 and 22,516.45 pts, respectively. The mid-cap declined 0.48 pc and Small cap by 0.30 pc. In 30 scrips, 15 advanced while 15 declined. The gainers were M & M by 1.68 pc to Rs 2755, Zomato by 1.10 pc to Rs 225.05, Maruti Suzuki by 0.64 pc to Rs 12425.60, and Bajaj Finserv by 0.57 pc to Rs 1868.20. The losers were L& T by 1.30 pc to Rs 1618.05, NTPC by 1 27 pc to Rs 316.05, Powergrid by 1.18 pc to Rs 256.10...////...
