Mumbai, Oct 29 (Reporter) The BSE Sensex on Tuesday slipped 395 points at 79,609.23 in the opening session as selling was seen across the board. The Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) dropped 12910 points to 24,210.05. Surging over 600 pts on Monday, the equity market went in red in early trade following a weak earnings session and continued foreign selling. The NSE registered days high and low at 24,378.65 and 24,189.90 points respectively. The Sensex registered intraday highs at 80,104.59 and 79,581.55 pts. The midcap fell 0.05 oc while the small cap rose 0.09 pc. In 30 scrips, 6 advanced while 24 declined. The losers were Bharti Airtel by 2.80 pc to Rs 1617, M&M by 2.35 pc to Rs 2715.95, Tata Motors by 1.82 pc to Rs 862.75, Maruti Suzuki by 1.80 pc to Rs 11275.90, and IndusInd Bank by 1.77 pc to Rs 1035.75. The gainers were NTPC by 2.19 pc to Rs 412.60, ICICI Bank by 1.31 pc to Rs 1309.60, L & T by 0.77 pc to Rs 3365.90, and HDFC Bank by 0.27 pc to Rs 1739...////...
