Sensex falls 58.80 pts

Mumbai, April 9 (Reporter) Snapping a winning streak of last three sessions, the BSE Sensex on Tuesday ended negative at 74683.70, declined 58.80 pts on profit booking by local operators despite positive Asian Market. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) eased 23.55 pts at 22,642.75. The NSE registered days high and low at 22,768.40 and 22,612.25 pts respectively. Surpassing its previous record, the Sensex opened an all time high at 75124.28, up 382 pts, it remained days high too. Later, it was slipped 139 pts at 74,603.37, days before closing at 74,683.70, sliding 58.80 pts from it previous close. The stocks that broke today's rally were namely Consumer Durable by 1.10 pc followed by Energy by 0.71 pc, Auto by 0.32 pc and Oil and Gas by 0.47 pc . The Mid cap fell 0.47 pc and Small Cap by 0.15 pc. In 30 scrips, 12 advanced, while 18 declined. The losers were Titan by 1.81 pc to Rs 3679.70, Reliance Industries by 1.48 pc to Rs 2927.10, Asian Paints by 1.26 pc to Rs 2857.35 and Tech Mahindra by 1.15 pc to Rs 1251. The gainers were ICICI bank by 1.81 pc to Rs 1106.55, Infosys by 1.19 pc to Rs 1494.70, Bajaj Finserv by 0.48 pc to Rs 165.95 and Tata Steel by 0.48 pc to Rs 165.95. In Asian market, Strait Times was up 0.67 pc, Hang Seng by 0.57 pc and Taiwan Weighted by 1.82 pc...////...
