Sensex falls 28.21 pts

Mumbai, Feb 19 (Reporter) The BSE Sensex remained negative for another session on Wednesday, declining 28.21 pts to settle at 75,939.18 as selling was seen in IT, Health Care, and Technology stocks. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) eased 12.40 pts at 22,932.90. The market remained volatile today, as it opened in red at 75,787.27, sliding 180 pts. During the day, it dropped 386 pts at 75,581.38, a day low. Meanwhile, it bounced back 371 pts at 76,338.58, a day high. Till the end of the session, it went in red and settled at 75,939.18, falling 28.21 pts from its previous close. The Nifty registered days high and low at 23,049.95 and 22,814.85 pts respectively. The stocks that kept the market low were IT by 1.21 pc, Technology by 1.31 pc, and Health Care by 0.31 pc. The Mid cap rose by 1.30 pc and the Small-cap by 2.41 pc. In 30 scrips, 13 advanced while 17 declined. The losers were Infosys by 2.21 pc to Rs 1810.60, TCS by 2.17 pc to Rs 3785.60, Hind Unilever by 2.07 pc to Rs 2248.20 and Bharti Airtel by 1.66 pc to Rs 1640.70. The gainers were Zomato by 4.86 pc to Rs 234.10, Axis Bank by 1.54 pc to Rs 1009.15, and L& T by 1.50 pc to Rs 3269...////...
