Mumbai, Jul 5 (Reporter) The BSE Sensex on Friday slipped 271 pts to open at 79,778.98 on profit booking by local operators. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) fell 113.75 pts to 24,188.40. Registering an all time high on Thursday, the BSE sensex opened in red as selling was seen across the board. The BSE sensex registered intra days high at 79,876.25 and low at 79,478.96 pts respectively. The NSE registered days high and low at 24,260.95 and 24,170.35 pts respectively. In 30 scrips, 11 advanced while 19 declined. The Mid cap rose 0.11 pc and Small cap by 0.35 pc. The losers were HDFC Bank Ltd by 3.46 pc to Rs 1666.85, M& M by 2.05 pc to Rs 2844, Tata Steel by 1.25 pc to Rs 174.05 and Titan by 1.16 pc to Rs 3296.90. The gainers were Sun Pharma by 0.91 pc to Rs 1572.05, JSW Steel by 0.74 pc to Rs 951.45, Hind Unilever by 0.72 pc to Rs 2514.85 and L& T by 0.68 pc to Rs 3598.45...////...
