Mumbai, Dec 18 (Reporter) The BSE Sensex on Wednesday dropped 341.59 pts to 80,342.86 in the opening session as selling was seen across the board. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) fell 50.90 pts to 24,285.10. The Sensex registered an intraday high at 81,868.02 and low at 81,299.92 pts. The Nifty registered days high and low at 24,394.45 pts and by 24,226.85 pts respectively. The mid cap eased 0.35 pc and Small cap by 0.42 pc. In 30 scrips, 12 advanced while 18 declined. The losers were Powergrid by 1.91 pc to Rs 323.70, Tata Motors by 1.71 pc to Rs 766, ICICI Bank by 0.94 pc to Rs 1320.60 and NTPC by 0.86 pc to Rs 346.25. The gainers were Sun Pharma by 1.31 pc to Rs 1812.90, HCL Technology by 0.96 pc to Rs 1970, Reliance industries by 0.93 pc to Rs 1969.45 and Tech Mahindra by 0.86 pc to Rs 1785...////...
