Mumbai, Sep 27 (Reporter) The BSE Sensex remained strong on Friday too, advancing 107 pts at 85,943.93 in the opening session as buying was seen in BSE commodities, IT, and metal stocks. The Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) rose 52.65 pts to 26,268.70. The Sensex registered intra and high and low at 85,978.25 and 85,787.61 pts, respectively. The NSE registered days high and low at 26,277.35 and 26,208.90 pts, respectively. The midcap rose 0.28 pc and the small cap by 0.51 pc. In 30 scrips, 21 advanced while 9 declined. The gainers were Infosys by 1.94 pc to Rs 1936.20, IndusInd Bank by 1.68 pc to Rs 1476.80, Sun Pharma by 1.61 pc to Rs 1929.05, and Bajaj Finserv by 1.44 pc to Rs 2010.90. The losers were Powergrid by 2.04 pc to Rs 357.80, Bharti Airtel by 1.34 pc to Rs 1746.15, L&T by 1.18 pc to Rs 3717.80, and ICICI Bank by 0.86 pc to Rs 1319.45...////...
