Kolhapur, Feb 11 (Reporter) Two people, including a senior citizen and a youth, were brutally murdered at different places in the district in a single day on Sunday. In an incident, a 65-year-old man was allegedly murdered by a drunken man who struck on his head with a big stick at Kuditre village in Karveer tehsil this morning. Suspected accused Ratan Balaso Bhaskar ran away from the spot after the incident, police said. In another incident, a youth was brutally killed by unidentified person who smashed him with big stones in Ichalkaranji town of Hatkangale tehsil this afternoon.
