Raipur, Jan 11 (Reporter) Congress General Secretary, and Chhattisgarh In-charge Sachin Pilot averred on Thursday that his party and the BJP are in an “eyeball-to-eyeball confrontation” within this state and Rajasthan; therefore, there is no likelihood of seat-sharing in these two states with other constituents of the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance in the context of the general election.
"However, the final decision shall be taken by the committee constituted by the party,” the visiting leader said during a press conference at the Congress office here.
Alleging that inflation and unemployment spiraled during the decadal tenure of the Centre’s Narendra Modi dispensation, he added that public sector undertakings are being sold and there are “burning issues” such as the Agniveer Scheme, demonetisation, and the Goods and Services Tax.
"The BJP will solely attempt to play up emotive issues. That party and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh are trying to politicise matters in the name of religion,” Pilot underlined...////...
