Chandigarh, May 10 (Reporter) Punjab's Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders and supporters went into a celebratory mode at the party office here after the Supreme Court granted interim bail to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the excise policy case on Friday. Thanking the apex judiciary, the AAP said that it is a victory of democracy and the beginning of the "end of dictatorship". State Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann thanked the Supreme Court through his X account (formerly Twitter) and wrote: "Now we will fight the battle to save democracy with more intensity." He said AAP National Convenor Kejriwal "is not just a person but an idea and now we will take his thinking forward with a renewed acceleration". AAP spokesperson Neel Garg said "It is not just an interim bail, it is the victory of democracy, truth always prevails. The honourable Supreme Court has given a setback to the "destroyer of democracy". "The BJP wanted to stop revolutionary leader Arvind Kejriwal from campaigning in the Lok Sabha Elections, today the Supreme Court has granted him bail to campaign in the polls.
