Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has stated that the Madhya Pradesh Government will continuously work on various public welfare initiatives, including cow care, with the blessings and guidance of saints. He further emphasized that our saints and mahātmas are beacons of wisdom and the right path. Lord Mahavir emphasized the values of nonviolence, self-restraint, truth, and dedication. Dr. Yadav mentioned that with the blessings of Maharaj Ji and other saints, the state government is moving forward in the direction of public welfare while following the principles of Lord Mahavir.

Dr. Yadav was addressing the special program on Mahavir Jayanti and the 38th Diksha Day of Muni Shri Pramansagar Ji Maharaj, held at Ravindra Bhavan, Bhopal, on Thursday evening. During the event, various Jain organizations felicitated Chief Minister Dr. Yadav.

The Chief Minister stated that India’s unique identity in the world has been shaped by the teachings of Lord Mahavir and other revered figures. While various types of conflicts have affected the culture in many countries, India remains a nation that still follows the path laid down by saints and monks. India has a glorious tradition of walking the path of righteousness.

Dr. Yadav paid his respects to Muni Shri Pramansagar Ji Maharaj, stating that there are over 200 countries in the world, and the cultures of many of these countries have disappeared without a trace. While the world may be in confusion, Bharat Mata has nurtured and preserved many cultures. Lord Mahavir Swami not only explained the secrets of life but also established the values of non-possessiveness, renunciation, celibacy, and dedication. He recalled that the sight of Acharya Vidyasagar Ji often reminded him of Lord Mahavir. Acharya Vidyasagar Ji attained divinity during his lifetime, and reading the literature written about him reveals his immense intellectual richness. On this occasion, Dr. Yadav also invited Muni Shri to visit the Chief Minister’s residence.
