Moscow, June 30 (Reporter) The Russian government has extended the permit for gasoline exports until July 31, according to the relevant document published on the official legal information portal on Saturday.
The document amends the government resolution No.243 from February 29 "On the introduction of a temporary ban on the export of commercial gasoline from Russia."
Sufficient fuel reserves have been formed on the domestic market and demand fully meets supply, Russian Energy Minister Sergey Tsivilyov said, adding that further steps will be taken based on market needs.
The ban on the export of gasoline to other nations, except for the Eurasian Economic Union countries, was introduced on March 1. In late May, the government suspended the ban until June 30. The decision to temporarily lift the ban on gasoline exports was made in connection with the saturation of the Russian market, in order to prevent a decrease in processing by a number of refineries and unloading of ports...////...
