Rupee strong at 86.39 in opening session

Mumbai, Jan 21 (Reporter) The Rupee was seen strong on Tuesday at 86.39 against USD, gaining 17 paise in the opening session on brisk selling of the US dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said. The local unit rallied owing to a weak dollar against other world currencies, along with a robust opening in the equity market in early trade, the dealer informed.
